When I graduate, get my Masters and my CCC's I want to work in a nursing home.

I want to be a speech therapist to Dementia and Alzheimer's patients.

I want to bring a smile to their day and make my visits & sessions the best part of the week.

I want to make a difference in the lives of people who are so often neglected.

My New Obsession

I have a new summer obsession and it is called Bath and Body Works.
This store has always been one of my favorites, all the yummy smells :)
But recently my liking has taken another level.
Hand sanitizers, candles, scent bugs, car freshener... Soap!
And all the new summer fragrances!
I need a gift card... Birthday present? (hint hint)

Second Home

It's weird how a place can begin to feel like home.
I have lived in my lovely apartment since August and have felt it a second home since.
But after spending two weeks in Birmingham (my hometown & real home), I really began to miss my apartment.
I miss Tuscaloosa.
Maybe it's the recent devastation that has caused this somewhat homesickness but a few days ago I just missed being in my apartment.
With my vanilla scented air fresheners, cozy twin bed, and Papason.
I don't know, I just missed being there.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being home home, like Birmingham home.
My Mom and Pepsie are there!
But I have two homes now and I miss one of them just like I miss Birmingham sometimes.

Lucky for me I have a final tomorrow and have come back to my apartment to spend the night and study.
It's good to be back at my second home.
Even if it's only for 24 hours :)
