Hoedown

Last Saturday night, Resonance had a "hoedown".
We dressed up in our western wear (some taking literal meaning to the name of the event) and had the best time doing what out group does best.
Dancing.
Out little shindig was in a field in the middle of no where, sketch I know.
We had a bonfire, cooked out, and acted crazy as we typically do when we have a party.

Well... Spring Break is finally over.
I hate to use the term 'finally' but I'm glad the week is done. I'm probably the only person in Tuscaloosa glad to be back...
The week went just as I knew it would. Everything I figured would happen did. I spend a few days in Destin with my precious Mom, I;m so blassed to have a Mom like her. We were only there for three days but that was plenty of time to get a good tan :) And I was able to see my friends for one night.
What a night that was.
I hope no one who reads this gets offended or angry, but I'm glad I didn't go on that trip. Though now everytime I get on facebook there are a thousand more pictures from the week that I am absent from & I feel (as expected) left out. It's really OK. I do feel distant from some of my friends, jealous of all their jokes and such. But untimately I wasn't supposed to be on that trip and I'm glad I listened to God and didn't go.
I'm hopeful that the excitement from spring break will die down and things will fall back into place, back into the normal routine. I hope that time comes soon.

Another Busy Week

Time for yet another stressful week...
I have two Trig assignments due Monday, one due Wednesday..
A Speech and Hearing Anatomy test Tuesday.
My Language Sample is due Tuesday and I have yet to begin transcribing it... Oops.

I know it doesn't sound like a stressful week, but these Anatomy tests are no joke. My professor is very serious about the term 'weed- out course'. I also have 58 minutes of time with a three year old to edit, decipher, and type up. Heaven knows how long that could take.

Finally I will have my advising appointment where my advisor can tell me how low my graduate school chances are or whatever depressing thing she has to say. (That's how the appointment went last time). And I get to find out how much of my summer is going to contain calss. Joy...

Last but not least, Spring Break starts Friday at 10:00am.
A week to relax, no school, stress.... Nothing.
Plus a few days at the beach :)

Sleep.

I'm addicted to my bed.
It's becoming a problem.
